Customs Duty Management

Customs Duty Management application is used by a multinational consumer goods corporation that imports raw materials from Asia and Europe into the UK.

This web application (integrated with SAP) helps the importer in benefiting from the HMRC customs import duty exemption for all raw materials imported from within Europe.

Client’s Challenge

Being a multinational consumer goods corporation, the customer imports raw materials from both Asian and European countries.

UK HMRC provides customs import duty exemption only for raw materials imported from Europe.

Hence, raw materials consumed by each plant need to be tracked to benefit from HMRC Import duty exemption.
